Get EXCITED! Milwaukee is a wonderful city that has so much to offer Lambda Kappa Sigma!
As you know, the chrysanthemum is the Fraternity flower. But what does it signify? The roots are alumni who provide a strong foundation. The stem represents current members who contribute the framework for new and continual growth. And student members are the blossoms who will grow, develop and flourish from the support of the roots and stem.
We encourage members to branch out and make their dedication to LKS fully bloom by actively contributing to the framework of their own personal and professional growth. From your local chapter to the national level, LKS offers many opportunities for student members to flourish!
Sign Up for a Committee
Future employers desire candidates who possess not only academic knowledge but who also have real-life experiences leading others and working as a team.
Through your chapter, you have many opportunities to develop project-management and team-building skills. Offer to oversee a fund-raiser supporting our national philanthropic, Project HOPE. Or maybe host a professional seminar for the campus and community focusing on our Women's Health Issue topic of skin cancer.
Eventually, consider applying for a national committee position!
Become a Chapter Officer
Expand your leadership role even more by running for one of your chapter's elected positions. It's a terrific opportunity for you to guide your chapter's members in actively participating in and hosting leadership and community service rograms on campus and in your community.
