Grand Council officers are elected at the Biennial Convention and transact the business of the Fraternity between conventions. Dues-paid alumni are eligible to run for a position.
Sandy was initiated into Alpha Phi Chapter at Wilkes University in November 2002. Since graduating, she has served as Region Supervisor, Grand Secretary, Grand Treasurer and fraternity advisor (Alpha Phi Chapter). Currently, Sandy is a clinical pharmacy specialist at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and manages the attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder medication management clinic at Virginia Treatment Center for Children. She is also an assistant clinical professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy and Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine. Sandy resides in Richmond with her cat, Ragmuffin, and dog, Zoey. In her free time, Sandy plays and manages multiple team sports and visits her family in Pennsylvania.
Chris has served in several officer positions and on many committees, both with Alpha Zeta Chapter at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and with Alpha Zeta Alumni Chapter. She is employed by SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri, as a Clinical Pharmacist. Chris is also on the Medication Error Reduction Team and represents her hospital in the media. She and husband Andre have two grown children and a German Shepherd/Lab mix, who is now the baby of the family. In addition to being an avid crocheter, Chris loves lighthouses and enjoys traveling to visit them.
Amanda was initiated into Alpha Beta Chapter at the University of Connecticut, then transferred to Alpha Chapter at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She has served LKS as Region Supervisor and Project HOPE Committee Chair. Amanda is a Pharmacy Manager for Walgreens, focusing on medication therapy management. As a Natural Pharmacist, she works with essential oils to make all-natural products. She is also a preceptor for University of Connecticut, University of St. Joseph and MCPHS University. Amanda lives in her hometown in Connecticut, where she spends time with family and friends, makes crafts found on Pinterest and enjoys the outdoors.
Nicole was initiated into Alpha Zeta Chapter in 2008 and graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 2012. She is currently working at a local community pharmacy and is also an adjunct professor at her alma mater. Nicole has been the Western Regional Supervisor and Alumni Chapter President for two bienniums and is very excited to take on the role of Grand VP for Development. When not wearing her white coat, Nicole volunteers with a local stray rescue and promotes her direct sales company.
Melissa graduated from St. John’s University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she was initiated into the Alpha Pi collegiate chapter in 2005. She completed a PGY-1 residency, with a focus in ambulatory care, at the Boston VA Medical Center. Currently, Melissa is a clinical pharmacy manager for ambulatory care at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She works with adult internal medicine services and focuses on the management of chronic diseases and reducing readmissions. Melissa has always remained active with LKS serving as Alpha Pi fraternity advisor, alumni mentor, Mid-Atlantic Region Supervisor, and Alpha Pi alumni chapter president.
Having graduated from Texas Southern University (Alpha Sigma Chapter) in 2002, Tameya is extremely excited to serve LKS. Professionally, she practices as a Compounding and Community Pharmacist in Houston. Socially, Tameya is a member of Windsor Village UMC, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Top Ladies of Distinction. She also serves as an Assistant Advisor to her chapter’s Top Teens of America. Tameya is the enthusiastic wife of Nicklous and energetic mom of Joshua and Nickerra. When asked why she continues to offer more of herself to others, Tameya simply says: "My desire to serve is, above all, selflessness."
Jenny was initiated into Xi Chapter at the University of Rhode Island. After graduation, she completed a general practice residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. Currently, Jenny works at the Center as a Clinical Specialist Pharmacist in Critical Care and Clinical Resource Utilization. She also oversees the Drug Information Center and develops drug use policy for the hospital and corporation. Jenny has served on Grand Council since 2002 as Region Supervisor, Grand VP for Alumni, Treasurer and Grand President and is Vice President of Epsilon Alumni Chapter. She resides in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband (Rob) their children (Alex and Erin), and dog (Allie).
