Amy Jurgens, Director of Membership & Interim Managing Director

In her role, Amy will assist chapters with membership recruitment, education and retention, maintain accurate member files, and assist at conventions. She will also take over the administration of the award, grant and scholarship programs.

Amy comes to us after serving as Membership Manager for the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin, where she found her passion for supporting volunteers and recruitment. She recruited hundreds of volunteers and girls, trained leaders on the GSWISE curricula, and successfully supported/retained members and volunteers.

Prior to the Girl Scouts, Amy was the Center Director and 4K teacher for Discovery Days Childcare Center, where she coordinated scheduling, trained teachers and wrote curricula. Amy then made a career change and worked as the Customer Relations Manager for a local car dealership, serving as a liaison between the general manager and management staff and the customers across 21 dealerships.

Julie Schnittka, Director of Communications

Since May 2013, Julie has assisted in the production of the convention printed programs, Blue & Gold Triangle, LinKS and Alumni News. In her role, she develops communication plans and oversees all communications from the Headquarters Office. In addition to administering the Educational Trust grants and the Fraternity Awards programs, she has worked closely with members during dues renewal and initiation periods.

Julie's career started in the technical writing field, where she honed the skill of writing clear, concise copy while developing user manuals for financial institution software.

In 1993, Julie moved to the more creative world of publishing, first for 13 years at Reader's Digest and then as a consultant for 7 years, working with such clients as Oxmoor House, Betty Crocker and Pillsbury. She has successfully managed book projects, developed web-based copy, published articles and created marketing materials.

K. Angelle Bujol, Director of Programs & Events

Angelle began her work with the Fraternity in November 2013, managing LKS's annual conventions and providing logistical support for board meetings and other events.

Her career in association management started as a traveling Field Representative for Pi Sigma Epsilon, the national professional fraternity for marketing, sales and sales management. Angelle later served as the Executive Director of that organization, overseeing business operations, staffing, event planning, chapter management and governance.

At the national headquarters for the American Heart Association, she coordinated the contracts, logistics and on-site operations for the association's corporate meetings and scientific conferences. Angelle also successfully developed and managed the national marketing program for their Charitable Estate Planning department.

Joan Rogala, Principal

Joan has served the Fraternity for the past 22 years as Executive Director and received the distinguished honor of LKS Patron during the Fraternity's 2015 Annual Convention. She serves the organization in all financial matters, strategic planning and governance.

Joan attended the University of Louisville in Kentucky, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance. In 1995, she started an association management company to offer complete headquarters management and administrative services for professional Greek-letter organizations and affiliated charitable entities. For 25 years, Joan has served as chief staff executive for a variety of groups in disciplines of business, medicine and pharmacy. Along the way, Joan earned credentials as a Certified Association Executive (CAE), a distinction she has maintained since 1997. She later went on to complete more than 90 hours of classroom instruction for a second professional credential through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management (IOM). Joan is also a trained facilitator for the Franklin Covey organization and currently serves as Past President of the Professional Fraternity Executives Association.
