Student Spotlight: Meet Carly Rotatori!

LKS spotlights student and alumni members that are making a difference in their chapters, in their communities, and in the field of pharmacy.
About Carly:

I’m currently a P1 student at the University of Connecticut and a sister of the Alpha Beta Chapter. I work at a small independent pharmacy in my hometown, which I love! I love having a small patient base because it means that I know almost everyone who walks in the door!  As part of the Alpha Beta chapter, I’m currently Co-Recruitment Chair and last year I served as Historian, running the instagram account! I love being a part of my chapters E-Board because it has given me the opportunity to practice leadership and get to know my sisters even better! This past summer I attended my first convention, and am already looking forward to the next convention in Wisconsin! I love meeting alumni and listening to some amazing women in pharmacy, who have continued to inspire me.

I Joined LKS Because:
I joined LKS as a freshman after finding out about the chapter at the school organization fair. I was really nervous about getting into pharmacy school and saw that LKS had so much to offer in helping me reach my goals!
Most Memorable LKS Experience:
My most memorable LKS experience was attending my first convention, last summer in Buffalo! I had some much fun meeting girls from other chapters, learning what events they put on and how to bring them back to Alpha Beta chapter, meeting some truly inspiring alumni, and of course getting closer to my Alpha Beta sisters! I never quite realized just how big LKS is and how much it means to me until attending convention!
Career Plans:

Once I finish pharmacy school, I hope to get a residency in pediatric pharmacy. I’ve always pictured myself working with kids and would love the opportunity to be a part of their health care team.
