Student Spotlight: Meet Victoria Pan!

LKS spotlights student and alumni members that are making a difference in their chapters, in their communities, and in the field of pharmacy.
Tell us about yourself: (school, chapter, work, hobbies, LKS activities, meetings attended)

Although I am originally from Arcadia, CA, I’ve spent the past few years in Boston — it has definitely grown on me! I entered Northeastern’s School of Pharmacy in 2017 after graduating from Boston College with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. I joined LKS Alpha Rho in my first semester at Northeastern, and have since had the privilege to volunteer at places like Haley House’s Soup Kitchen and Relay For Life, all while representing LKS! I currently work at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and spend my free time studying, reading (I’m currently in a Stephen King phase), and exploring Boston.
Why did you join LKS?

I joined LKS because I truly admire and believe in our motto and our message. I’m so grateful to have found so many like-minded individuals who have the same core values, so we can help each other as we work towards our future aspirations.
Most Memorable LKS Experience:

My most memorable LKS experience was definitely the first time I met my LKS sisters at Fall RxPo, a tabling event for pharmacy organizations at Northeastern. I was so nervous going in and it showed when talking to members of other organizations, but once I reached the LKS table, it was the first time I felt at ease all night. The sisters there were so friendly and ambitious, I knew LKS would be the perfect organization to optimize community outreach while having an amazing, lifelong support system in my sisters.
Career plans:

I hope to one day complete a residency and specialize as a transplant or psychiatric pharmacist.
