Meet Elicia DeParolesa
Tell us about yourself: (school, chapter, work, hobbies, LKS activities, meetings attended)
I began my LKS Lamb4Lifestyle at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy- Boston in 2000! Alpha Chapter was what I needed when I expectantly lost my father to cardio myopathy. I worked hard to ensure the success of our Chapter and to always keep Sisterhood at the heart of everything we did- our # 1 core value before we started talking about core values!
For over 18 years I was with CVS Health by most recently, I became the Patient Care Services Manager for Osco Pharmacy in New England. This role has me diving into MTM, IMZ, Diabetes education, and more on a daily basis! I am able to use my years working as a manager and within corporate to help guide our amazing pharmacists through this exciting time in pharmacy- the journey to provider status!
I’m a recent new mom so my hobbies seem to be diaper changing now! I love to travel and have visited my favorite city, Paris, 4 times- I hope to one day retire in France! Exploring new cultures and cooking are something I love to do
As the Alpha Alumni president and Alpha collegiate Fraternity Advisor, I am always involved with LKS! I am also a member of the TLC and nominating committee. I have served the Fraternity as a Region Supervisor as well as the GVPC for 2 biennium. I have attended every meeting since becoming a Sister of LKS (so this year at Buffalo was my 18th!!)
My most memorable LKS experience
There isn’t just one! Every year I am fortunate to meet new Sisters, whether it is within my own Chapter or at convention. However, one of my favorite activities we did as a Fraternity was ‘What color is your lamb’ presented by my mentors, Christine Perry and Dixie Leikach at the Centennial. My most proud moments were when I was awarded Advisor of the Year (2013) and the Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award (2015).
The advice you would give to others
Be happy and know your worth. Without either, you will never fully succeed at anything.
Why are you a lamb for life
Why wouldn’t I be? The group that was there for me at my lowest and the Sisters that I strive to make proud keep me a lamb 4 life.
If I were not a pharmacist I would be
A National Vice President for Arbonne International- a health and wellness company that I work for (side hustle!) with a team in every country we exist in.
