Meet Zanda Alexander!

Chapter: Alpha Eta Chapter (Long Island University, College of Pharmacy)

LKS spotlights student and alumni members that are making a difference in their chapters, in their communities, and in the field of pharmacy.

Tell us about yourself:

I am a member of the Alpha Eta chapter at Long Island University. I am excited to be the treasurer of our chapter this year.

Which of our core values (sisterhood, leadership, service, scholarship and integrity) do you feel you most strongly represent and how?

The core values that I feel represent me most are leadership and sisterhood.  I demonstrate leadership skills by being active within the pharmacy organizations I am a part of. I demonstrate sisterhood values by uplifting my sisters when they’re discouraged.

What pharmacy or LKS related events are you looking forward to in this upcoming year?

I am looking forward to mid-year. I believe it will be an enlightening experience, a great way to network, and a wonderful opportunity to expand my social skills beyond school.

Who do you see as your role model in LKS and why?

My role model in LKS is my big Lola. She is the definition of a leader and someone who is hard working.
